NW Pear Review
The 2010 NW Pear Research Review was held in Yakima at the Red Lion Hotel Yakima Center February 18-19, 2010. Over $400,000 in continuing and new project funding was approved by the Fresh Pear and Processed Pear Committees. To view the list of funded projects, click on the link below.
The pear research priority setting session will be held Wednesday, October 20 at the WA Fruit Commission meeting room in Yakima beginning at 1:00pm. This round table session will gather input from pear advisory committee members as to the top research priorities for the coming year. This information will be used to craft the request for proposal for research for 2011.
The 2011 NW Pear Research Review will be held February 10-11, 2011 at the Best Western Hood River, in Hood River, Oregon. More details will be added to this site as they become available.
