Dan Flick is our newest board member, starting in August 2008. He chairs the Apple Crop Protection Committee as well as participates in board-related activities.
Dan was born in Wenatchee and attended Cashmere High School. He received a BS in Horticulture from WSU. Dan has been a Fieldman for the past 33 years in the Yakima area as well as Okanogan County, Chelan County and the Columbia Basin. He is also an owner of a pear and cherry orchard.
Dan is a 3rd generation fruit grower. His wife, Sue, runs the orchard. They have two grown children: Doug, who has a BS in Horticulture from WSU and is a Fieldman for Chamberlin. Doug’s wife Katie is a school teacher with a degree in education from CWU. Their daughter Hannah has a BS in Biology from WSU and is selling fruit for Crunch Pak.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys hunting, fishing and farming.
